Here's my review of Fruitas fruit shakes, our all-time favorite healthy cooler.
In this era when people are crazy over coffee blends and milk tea drinks, I
still gravitate toward the good old Fruitas shakes to quench my thirst and
get my dose of healthy fruits. Well, for one, I’m not fond of eating fruits
but I love fruit juices and shakes. Anyway, Fruitas has been providing
healthy fruit drinks to Filipinos for over two decades now.
Fruitas: Healthy & Refreshing All-Time Cooler (with Menu & Branches)
Trying Fruitas again
Many people who are of my age will surely have fond memories of Fruitas. Just
recently, I got to try Fruitas again when we went to SM City Fairview one
weekend. I was thirsty after more than two hours of running after my two kids,
carrying Miguel when he got tired, and about an hour of walking in SM
Hypermarket while pushing a cart full of groceries.
I ordered a tall cup of watermelon shake at Fruitas. When my cup was handed to
me, I immediately felt its cold contents. I knew then that I would enjoy every
sip of it. Indeed, I was happy. I realized right then that nothing quenches my
thirst like Fruitas. Sipping the fruit shake felt good; it did not overload
the palate with too much sweetness or heavy cream. At some point, I thought
that it was event cleansing to the palate. I savored every drop of my
watermelon shake.
Fruitas Menu
In terms of its menu, Fruitas has got a good number of choices, featuring
nonseasonal fruits like bananas, avocado, papaya, apple, orange, lemon, melon,
pineapple, and coconut to name a few. Seasonal fruits like guyabano and
strawberry are available when they are, well, in season.
