Sharing our experience at the Paradizoo Theme Farm as well as the things that you can do with your family.
The Paradizoo Theme Farm located along the Mendez-Tagaytay Road in Mendez,
Cavite is a great option if you are looking to give your kids a fun
experience interacting with animals. The Paradizoo Theme Farm offers a
unique bonding moment with your children as compared to the usual indoor
playground in shopping malls. It's also a great opportunity to escape the
busy buzz of the city and commune with nature.
Paradizoo Theme Farm: A Fun Place For Kids Who Love Animals
Our experience at the Paradizoo Theme Farm
For a long time, we've been planning to take our kids to the zoo for them to
see the animals that they just normally see in pictures or videos. While we
were looking for options, we thought of visiting theme farms or parks outside
Metro Manila for a little breather. We finally decided to go to the Paradizoo
Theme Farm because of its proximity to Metro Manila as well as the many things
that we can do in Tagaytay afterward.
We used Google Maps to navigate our way to the Paradizoo Theme Farm. The
directions were fairly easy to follow and, if not for some unavoidable delays,
we would've arrived at the Paradizoo Theme Farm earlier.
The staff at the gate were very accommodating when we arrived, even if it was
close to 5:00 p.m. We bought an extra ticket for the animal feeding (the
package was inclusive of grass, carrots, and seeds) and immediately had fun
with the animals. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and we saw that our
two boys had a good time.
What we did at the Paradizoo Theme Farm
Since it was late afternoon when we arrived, some of the attractions were
already closed. Nonetheless, there were still many options left for us to do.
Here are some of the things that we did at Paradizoo Theme Farm.
1. Feeding the geese and the ducks
This was one of the highlights of our visit to the Paradizoo Theme Farm. We
were literally swamped by geese and ducks when we started throwing the corn
and seeds. There was also a cute little piglet that kept approaching us while
we were feeding the ducks and geese.
2. Feeding the rabbits
This is also one of the activities that your kids will definitely love. The
cute rabbits will nibble on the carrots on sticks right away. Rafa certainly
had a wonderful time feeding the rabbits.
3. Feeding the sheep, miniature horses, and donkeys
We (Rafa mainly) also fed the sheep, miniature horses, and donkeys with grass
but we had to stay outside the pen.
4. Encounter with turtles
Rafa seemed to have developed a liking for the turtles at the Paradizoo Theme
Farm. He liked waiting for the turtles to come out of their shells and
observing them swim. We had quite a challenging time convincing Rafa to move
to the next station.
5. Playing with parakeets
The parakeets are very friendly and would immediately fly over to you if you
offered them some bird seeds.
6. Touring the garden
After our encounter with the farm animals, we also went to the garden where
there are a variety of trees and flowering plants that are being cultivated.
7. We also had our pictures taken as souvenirs
The Paradizoo staff would take your photos in various locations within the
property. You also have the option to have your family pictures made into ref
magnets and a keychain for P500.
