When the craving for delicious local noodle dishes hits, you can’t go wrong with Noodles Republic. This is exactly what happened to Mommy Khris and me a few months ago; it was almost dinner time and we couldn’t think of anything to eat. Well, we were really craving for something but we couldn’t pinpoint what it was until we thought of Batangas lomi. It was a good thing Mommy Khris thought of Noodles Republic. It was actually a food kiosk franchise located in Lagro that her friend owns. When they opened it, Mommy Khris’ friend informed us that if we wanted pancit or lomi, we could order from them and have it delivered via Lalamove.

As you can see, these are mostly quick meal orders that are easy to prepare. Just the same, these are well-loved dishes by many Filipino families.

We ordered Pansit Batil Patong and Lomi Special, both family sizes. We were excited to try the Pansit Batil Patong because it was our first time trying it. For those who are not familiar with Pansit Batil Patong, it’s a popular noodle dish in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. The Pansit Batil Patong has earned raves and praises for its rich flavors.

True enough, the Pansit Batil Patong was quite an elaborate noodle dish with abundant toppings of vegetables, slices of meat, eggs, and a thick sauce. It also came with a soupy sauce, probably for tempering down the rich and savory sauce of the noodles. 

Finally, it also came with a dipping sauce of calamansi (Philippine lemons), chopped onions, and fish sauce. As expected, it was an explosion of flavors. We would definitely order it again.

Of course, we would always order Lomi whenever it was available in restaurants. Our order from Noodles Republic also didn’t disappoint. The soup is flavorful and the noodles are firm to the bite. It also had loads of toppings so each spoonful was enjoyable.

The servings of both dishes were hefty; even our kids enjoyed the delicious soup. If you are in the Lagro or SM City Fairview area, I would definitely recommend ordering from Noodles Republic.
