If there’s one dessert or pastry that I will never get tired of eating, it’s Lord Stow’s egg tarts. Those baked goodies are undoubtedly yummy; with each bite of the soft custard filling and flaky crust satisfying my palate. Mommy Khris and I first tasted egg tarts in Macau during our honeymoon and we fell in love with them ever since. When we were in Macau, we bought and ate egg tarts whenever there was a chance to do so. As such, we were glad to know that we can still enjoy Macau’s famous egg tarts through Lord Stow’s branches here in the Philippines.

Lord Stow’s Bakery is the creator of the world-famous egg tarts. That’s how straightforward their description is and I personally believe that they can easily lay claim to this fact because the egg tarts sold at local Lord Stow’s outlets taste the same as those in Macau. Anyway, I bought the egg tarts from Lord Stow’s Market! Market! outlet but I’m confident that the quality remains consistent in all branches.

The founder of Lord Stow’s Bakery, the late Englishman Andrew Stow, always adhered to the idea of offering egg tarts that are fresh, healthy, and made of all-natural ingredients. As such, each batch of egg tarts is made by hand daily to ensure that they are free from preservatives.

What we love about Lord Stow’s egg tarts is that they are not too sweet. They have a rich milky and egg taste that the whole family will surely love.

Lord Stow’s egg tarts are delicious and are a delight to eat. I understand that not all people will find the price of P56 per piece (box of 4 – P220, box of 6 – P320, and box of 12 – P630) to be budget-friendly.

However, do keep in mind that you are paying for the quality of the final product, the ingredients that go into each tart, and the overall taste of the egg tarts. Even the smell of the egg tarts is wonderful, in fact, I love passing by the Lord Stow’s outlet in Market! Market! on the way to the bus station.
