Classic Filipino pastries at Bakerite Bakery
That comes as no surprise because Bakerite Bakery has been around since 1946 making handmade Filipino bread. Bakerite Bakery is known for its freshly baked, flavorful, and delicious bread, cakes, and pastry products. Even if Bakerite Bakery has been around for decades, they still stick to traditional methods of making their products.
Bakerite Bakery was kind enough to send me a Special Decadence Cake last Father’s Day. I thought that it was a nice gesture, after all, cakes make celebrations extra special. That’s not to mention that the Special Decadence Cake was delicious; it was caramelly, but the level of sweetness was balanced. The cake itself or the sponge was moist and had a mild milky taste. It was perfect eaten as is or with coffee.
Aside from the Special Decadence Cake, Bakerite Bakery has other cake flavors like mocha cake, vanilla cake, choco mocha cake, rocky road cake, mango crème cake, chocolate cake, caramel cake, ube cake, and strawberry fudge cake. These cakes are available in round and rectangular shapes.
For special occasions, Bakerite Bakery also offers customized cakes like the special cake with white icing, specially designed cakes (character cakes, birthday cakes, wedding cakes, and baptismal cakes), customized designs, and even cupcakes.
