How we got to taste Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory cookies
I’ve heard about Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory since last year because of the internet and social media buzz. Apparently, it was one of Japan’s most loved
pastry products and Filipino travelers would buy Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory
cookies and cakes as pasalubong for their friends in the Philippines.

However, I didn’t give in to the hype because sometimes people can be exaggerated on social media. It was actually Khris who was insistent to try it
but, since we were in quarantine last year, we had no opportunity to go out.
We soon learned that they also delivered but the experience is never really
the same as compared to going inside a store or visiting a kiosk. It’s the
same feeling (or imagination, I suppose) that delivered food tastes different
from food eaten in-store, even if there is really no difference between the
two.
On the other hand, we thought that Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory’s products were expensive that’s why we also had second thoughts in ordering. Anyway, it was a
good thing that during Khris’ Christmas dinner with her colleagues in
December, one of her friends gave her a box of Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory Honey & Gorgonzola Cookies, the brand’s most popular product.
The Honey & Gorgonzola Cookies are crafted using a unique flavoring of rosemary honey from Spain. Sandwiched in between the cookies is a rich filling of Gorgonzola cheese. It was no doubt excellent, each bite is a luxurious melange of flavors.
Even the kids loved the Honey & Gorgonzola cookies for their morning snacks.
As for Khris and I, well, we had to restrain ourselves from eating everything in one sitting. We finally finished the entire box after three days.
Is it worth ordering? Definitely. And I might just order a box online soon
when we have the craving for it.
