The Sacred Heart Parish – Shrine in Kamuning, Quezon City is considered one of the most attractive churches in Metro Manila.
There’s a good reason why the Sacred Heart Parish-Shrine (also known as the
Kamuning Church) in Kamuning, Quezon City is one of the most popular churches for weddings and baptismal in Metro Manila. That’s because aside
from its quaint beauty, the Sacred Heart Parish-Shrine’s location is ideal
for solemn ceremonies. It’s surrounded by trees and it’s not in a busy
street, which is ideal for you if you don’t like noises and distractions
when your rites are ongoing.

My experience in visiting the Sacred Heart Parish Church
The only time when Khris and I have been to the Sacred Heart Parish Church was
when we were looking for churches in 2013 for our wedding the following year.
It was just a random visit since our plans were not yet ironed out; we only
searched for a list of churches in Quezon City.

However, we fell in love with Sacred Heart Parish Church that we strongly considered for our wedding. It was in a quiet neighborhood, there were
trees surrounding it, and the front yard was spacious.
The Sacred Heart Parish Church wasn’t even a Spanish-era building, it was
completed only in 1941, but it was still attractive, nonetheless.
The interiors of the baroque Sacred Heart Parish Church looked cavernous and
grand, it had all that it takes to make one’s dream fairytale wedding come
true. What’s also good about this church is that the stained-glass windows are
big, almost floor to ceiling, so the interiors are bathed with natural light
on a sunny day.
The altar, meanwhile, features intricate details that are similar to what we
see in other Spanish-era churches.
