If you want delicious steaks, ribs, and chicken wings, then you should definitely check Blake’s Wings & Steaks.
Blake’s Wings & Steaks offers delicious and hearty meals without breaking one’s wallet. It’s quite uncommon to find a restaurant that is able to balance good food quality and an attractive price point these days. As such, Khris and
I were quite surprised because Blake’s Wings & Steaks ticks all the boxes.
Of course, it’s a different story when the actual servings are brought out.
Blake’s Wings & Steaks: Delicious Meat Lover’s Feast At An Affordable Price
Our experience at Blake’s Wings & Steaks
Blake’s Wings & Steaks is one of the newest restaurants to open at the SM
City Fairview Parkway. We frequently saw it when we passed by the area.
It looked like a spacious restaurant so it didn’t seem to get crowded.
However, that is to be expected these days because of the COVID-19 health protocols being imposed when out in public. Outside, it appeared like a modern
log cabin; its design will really catch your attention.
Anyway, we went to Blake’s Wings & Steaks during one of our scheduled Sunday grocery errands. There were also fewer people in the mall because Metro Manila was anticipating the landfall of Typhoon Rolly. Thus, we were able to
immediately get seats inside Blake’s Wings & Steaks.
But before we were ushered inside, we were asked to fill out the health declaration form, which we did online by scanning the QR code. We were also
showed how to access the menu via QR, something that we will see more often
when dining outside in the new normal.
Inside, Blake’s Wings & Steaks looked modern and cozy. It was just a simple restaurant without many decors and adornments. It was comfortable to eat here,
it wasn’t cramped and it wasn’t hot. It was also easy to move around without worrying that you will bump other diners or even the servers.
However, since there was an approaching weather disturbance, the mall announced that they are cutting the hours short. Unfortunately, we also had to
eat fast since we also didn’t want to be caught in the frenzy of people
scrambling to get out of the mall.
The food
We ordered Dibs on Ribs (P485, half a kilo or four pieces of meat), Porterhouse
Steak with Honey Butter (P315), and a Garden Salad (P245). We didn’t wait long for our food to be served, which was good because we were already starving.

The Dibs on Ribs is fall-off-the-bone barbecued ribs. It’s rubbed with spices and coated with hickory barbecue sauce. It’s served with corn and carrots on the side. We liked how tender the meat and how thick and sticky the barbecue sauce was. It was really delicious and meaty, any person who loves meat will
be surely satisfied by the Dibs on Ribs.
The cuts of the meats were so big that Khris and I were able to each finish only one piece of rib. We took away the remaining pieces of meat and ate them
later for dinner.

| Porterhouse Steak |
The Porterhouse Steak, meanwhile, is tender cuts of grilled beef rubbed with a
unique sauce. It is served with mashed potatoes, corn and carrots, and your choice of gravy. For the sauce, I think we chose the mushroom and black pepper gravy. By default, the server informed us that the meat is prepared medium rare but you can have it further customized to your liking.
Khris wanted it well-done so that’s what we opted for. Nevertheless, the steak is still tender, juicy, and flavorful. The herbed butter rub went well with
the meat and we thought that it was the best for grilled steak because it
enhanced the meat flavor without really altering the taste too much.

Lastly, the Garden Salad is made of crisp mixed greens and juicy fresh citrus fruits in special house dressing. The fresh vegetables and the light dressing provided a welcome break from all the savory meats we were eating. With each forkful of the salad though, we were enticed to have more bites of the steak and the ribs.
Our verdict
We had an enjoyable meal at Blake’s Wings & Steaks. The food was delicious and the price was just right. All health and safety protocols were in place and there were hand sanitizers available upon entering the restaurant premises.
It was just unfortunate that we had to eat fast because the mall was closing soon but that was beyond our control because of the inclement weather at that time. Anyway, that just means that we have to go back to Blake’s Wings & Steaks soon.

Super nakakatakam po lahat lalo na po yung dibs on ribs may carrots and corn pa talagang bawat dishes nila may vegetables. Healthy po talaga and budget friendly pa. 😍😍 Hopefully matry ko ang mga to kaso wala silang branch sa lugar namin.
