House of Lasagna offers delicious pastas and rice meals but what we love most is, of course, their cheesy baked lasagna.
House of Lasagna easily comes to our mind whenever we are craving delicious baked pasta. Many years ago, before the pandemic happened, we would eat here to treat ourselves after a tiring work week or when we want to go on small dates every once in a while.
House of Lasagna: our favorite restaurant for satisfyingly delicious baked pasta
House of Lasagna is just a small restaurant at Salcedo Car Park. We used to just walk to this restaurant from our office. It was far from being called fancy but it was an attractive diner in the sense that there are no large crowds and it looked really friendly.
With the Metro Manila lockdown though, it got us curious if House of Lasagna suffered the fate of other similar restaurants that were forced to close business. So we checked its Facebook page and we were happy to find out that House of Lasagna was still open and accepting take out and delivery orders.
House of Lasagna’s Menu
All of House of Lasagna’s specialties are available for take-out and delivery. For the pastas, customers may choose from the Chef’s Pasta, Spaghetti and Meatballs, Baked Mac and Cheese, Creamy Pesto, and White Bacon Mushroom.
For starters and sides, you may order Southern Fried Chicken Skin, Southern Fried Calamari, Potato Wedges, Loaded Potato Wedges, Coleslaw Salad, and Plain rice. For the fried chicken, the Southern Fried Chicken, Garlic Parmesan, and Salted Egg are available.
Meanwhile, for the lasagnas, the Beef Lasagna, Chicken Lasagna, Three Cheese Lasagna, Vegetable Lasagna, Pesto Lasagna, Alfredo Lasagna, Carbonara Lasagna, and Truffle Mushroom Lasagna may be ordered for both take-out and delivery.

Ordering from House of Lasagna
I contacted House of Lasagna via Viber and they immediately replied. It was easy to place an order because you just have to send in the pasta type, serving size, and your preferred delivery time. I ordered half tray of baked lasagna worth P880, with P50 delivery charge.
Our order came warm and secured in a box |
After confirming my order, I was asked to pay the total fee (cost of the pasta plus delivery charge) through BDO which I did via interbank fund transfer. Cash on delivery is also available though so you may opt for this payment type if this is what you prefer.
Warm, delicious, and fragrant baked lasagna |
The food arrived warm and well-packaged at our agreed time. We waited no time and opened the package. The baked lasagna was freshly-cooked and the wafting aroma of melted cheese, butter, and ground beef was mouth-watering.
Finally enjoying baked lasagna again
It had been months since we last ate at House of Lasagna and we immediately enjoyed our baked pasta with much delight. We never realized how much we craved for it when we finally took our first bite of our order.
Digging in |
It was so good, we almost finished the entire tray. Well, we were able to save a serving for each one of us, which we enjoyed again at dinnertime.
Delicious |
What we love about House of Lasagna’s baked lasagna is the balance of flavors. The sauce was not too sweet and not too sour; it was perfect for the Pinoy palate that is looking for the right blend of flavors.

Epilogue
House of Lasagna offers delicious and no-frills pastas and rice meals. What we like about it is at their food is always hot and freshly-cooked. Now that they are promoting their delivery service, we might just order from House of Lasagna more frequently, when we are in Makati, of course.

This is one of my fave lasagnas of all time! I super love their beef lasagna and fried chicken, my absolute staples whenever I crave for House of Lasagna.
ReplyDeleteGood thing you enjoyed your experience here. I recall having a not so fortunate one in McKinley Hill where the service is poor and the food tasted so-so. The branch closed now. But thanks for this article, it doesn't seem so bad after all that I wanna try it again.
ReplyDeleteLasagna is really one of my favorite Italian dishes. By just looking at the menu, it looks like they have a good variety of lasagna inspired dishes that I haven't tried before. I will put this restaurant on my list to visit when I go back to Philippines:)
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed their lasagna, and it does look delicious. Pwede na for small party :) At marami rin pala silang branches, accessible!

ReplyDeleteI remember receiving gift certs for House of Lasagna before at Blogapalooza but at that time, they didn't have any branch near us, so I wasn't able to use it. Sayang. I see one now along the elevated walk bridge in Makati, but it was closed the last time we passed. Perhaps when the pandemic is over, they will reopen.
ReplyDeleteHouse of Lasagna is THE BEST when it comes to cheesy lasagna. I remember they had a branch before near us in Robinsons Manila, and I would always order that along with some potato wedges for sides πππ
ReplyDeleteWell for me, lasagna tastes better at home! I tried eating out sometimes but it usually triggers my anxiety. Haha! Heard good reviews House of Lasagna, can't wait to try in the future.
