For the last couple of years, the company that I used to work with had been holding its summer weekend treat for its media friends here. It’s ideal for these types of gatherings because of the many amazing things that guests can do at Timberland.
Being tucked high in the mountains of Rizal, Timberland is the perfect destination if you want to disconnect from the stress and pressures of life.
The weather here is chilly and becomes even colder at nighttime.

While the mobile phone signal at Timberland is intermittent, it has strong
Wi-Fi signals in its function rooms. Plus, it provides a good view of the nighttime cityscape.
How to go to Timberland
Going to Timberland is easy. When you get to Quezon Memorial Circle, go
straight to Commonwealth Avenue.
Before reaching Sandiganbayan, turn right to Batasan Road then make a right to
Batasan-San Mateo Road. Cross the bridge over the Marikina River, then turn left to Gen. Luna. Make a right turn to Delos Santos St.
When the road begins to slope up, turn left into the highway and follow the
directional signages leading to Timberland Heights.
The Rooms
Guests can book either an exclusive deluxe room or a deluxe room. The
exclusive deluxe room has king-sized beds while the deluxe rooms have two
regular beds. All of Timberland's rooms are equipped with a safety deposit
box, a minibar, cable TV, air-conditioning unit, Wi-Fi connection, and a work
desk.
Of course, all bedrooms have spacious bathrooms that feature a bathtub, a
shower, a toilet, and bath amenities.
Things to do in Timberland
If you want a slow weekend, you can opt to just stay in your room or maybe take a walk outside to enjoy the chilly mountain air. That’s perfectly fine.
However, if you do decide to fill your day with activities, here are several
that you can do:
1. Take a dip in the Olympic-sized swimming pool
The weather in Rizal is chilly but what’s to stop you from enjoying the swimming pool? Well, it does not really get empty because many guests, both adults and children, decide to try the pool for themselves.
Wearing proper swimwear is strictly enforced though. Towels are available
at the gazebo.
2. Have a relaxing massage and other pampering treatments at the salon
Elevate your day of relaxation by having a satisfying massage at the spa.
Moreover, you can also have other pampering treatments like facials, manicures,
and pedicures at the beauty salon. Keep in mind though that you need to reserve a spot to enjoy these services.
3. Play basketball, badminton, volleyball, table tennis, and billiards
These sporting amenities are available for free to all guests. However, you
need to borrow gear like rackets and balls from the reception area.
4. Test your stamina and grip at the wall-climbing area
There is also a wall-climbing area if you are looking for more heart-pounding
and exhilarating activities. There are safety harnesses that you can use for
your peace of mind (and safety, of course)
5. You may also arrange to go hiking or biking at the nature trail
While you are in the province of Rizal, one of the best things that you can do is to commune with nature. You can hike at the nature trail or ride a bike on the roads around the resort.
6. Have fun at the Adventure Farm
Book a visit to the Adventure Farm and have a fun family bonding experience in
the midst of this child-friendly farm.
7. Have a memorable wedding reception
Yes, Timberland Sports and Nature Club is one of the most popular wedding venues near Metro Manila. The quaint and quiet surroundings will provide the perfect backdrop for a memorable and romantic wedding reception.
8. Enjoy a sumptuous buffet
One of the most delectable foods that I have tasted is at Timberland Sports and
Nature Club. You can enjoy all their delicious offerings by booking a dinner buffet. If that is not your thing, you can also order plated meals.
Take note though that all rooms come with a free breakfast buffet. The food at the buffet table is also noteworthy and generously filled once the plates are
empty.
You may book a room at any time of the year. However, you might want to keep in
mind that peak season starts from the summer months and may last up to
June.

ReplyDeleteNapaka gandang place nito. Dto mo talaga magagawa lahat ng gusto mo hndi mo magagawang mainip sa place nato. Sarap magkaroon ng family Bonding dto.. At hndi kana mamomroblema ng pagkain dahil madami ding pagkain na masasarap dito. Talagang nakakaenjoy.
