Here are the food items that I like ordering at Bacolod Chicken Inasal.
When it comes to delicious roast chicken, Bacolod Chicken Inasal easily comes to mind. It’s one of the most popular chicken inasal restaurants in the country. In fact, I think they’re responsible for bringing chicken inasal to national consciousness.
Admittedly, I’m not a fan of chicken but I do eat the breast and thigh because of their generally milder flavors. I was hesitant at first to eat at Bacolod Chicken Inasal but when I found out that they offer pecho (chicken breast). atay (chicken liver), and balun-balunan/baticolon (chicken gizzard), I’m game to try their food.
Bacolod Chicken Inasal’s pecho is meaty and flavorful. I like its smokiness as well as the taste of the herbs from its marinade. It doesn’t have a strong chicken taste which I find off. And not only that, the pecho is lean which I also like because I don’t like chicken fat. Overall, I like the mild flavor of the pecho enhanced by seasonings.

When I order pecho, I also like to add a stick each of grilled chicken liver and gizzard. They’re really good and I could eat them over and over again.
Of course, eating grilled chicken is not completed without the signature dipping sauce of calamansi, soy sauce, and red chili. You can also try sinamak or spiced vinegar if you want a brighter flavor with your chicken inasal.

Another dish that I love ordering at Bacolod Chicken Inasal is the batchoy. It’s a Filipino noodle soup composed of flavorful broth, pork innards, chicharon, spring onions, toasted garlic, and egg. This is a warm and comforting dish that’s already a meal in itself but I still like to order it as a side soup. At times, I eat at Bacolod Chicken Inasal because of I want to have batchoy.
Other notable dishes that are worth trying at Bacolod Chicken Inasal are the pork sisig, the sizzling mushroom sisig, and the grilled blue marlin.
Aside from the delicious food, I also like that the items in Bacolod Chicken Inasal’s menu are affordable. If you love chicken inasal, then you can always indulge on your favorite dishes at Bacolod Chicken Inasal.
