A Review of Anika Island Resort, our home in Bantayan Island

Every time we travel, seldom do we really care much about accommodation since we’ll be out and about most of the time. As long as we have the basics (i.e. clean bed and toilet, strong water supply and air-con unit), we are OK.

Thus, it’s always such a big bonus whenever we stumble upon accommodations that offer much more than the basics for a price that is reasonable. Such is Anika Island Resort, a charming little beachfront property nestled in Sta. Fe town in Bantayan Island, Cebu.

Atmosphere Resort & Spa: A Luxury Resort with a heart for the Environment

Whenever we travel, it has become a tradition for us to cap our adventure in with an overnight stay in a luxury hotel or resort. It’s the perfect way to cap a week filled with activities. And since we were celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary, we wanted to splurge in a hotel that was special but worth its price. Negros Oriental Diaries: Where to Stay in Dumaguete City

When looking for accommodation, we always try to find one that is proximate to the town or city’s attractions and shopping destinations. Such was our criteria when we chose Golden Gate Suites, conveniently located in the heart of downtown Dumaguete City. The best that the city has to offer is just one tricycle ride away. Of course, the good reviews posted on Travelbook convinced us even more to choose Golden Gate Suites.

Helping Bloggers Earn: Travel Book Philippines Launches Affiliate Program

I first heard of TravelBook (travelbook.ph) through my wife when she booked an overnight accommodation in Boracay during our first anniversary. Although we have not tried (or heard about) TravelBook before, what I liked most about the site is that it already carried a good number of hotels and lodgings. It was a good mix of easy-on-the-pocket bed and breakfast to top-tier hotels, thus catering to a broad segment of travelers. The brand TavelBook also somehow stuck to my mind because of the simplicity and straightforwardness of its name. It is a homegrown brand which aims to provide great value to every Juan.
